lower jaw after all teeth have been removed. Note
how little gum there is to support and retain a
denture and how the soft tissues bulges out under
the tongue. This makes the wearing of a conventional
denture extremely difficult. There are 3 main solutions

Mr A. came to the surgery to see if there was anything
we could do for his failing lower teeth.
His teeth were removed as they were extensively decayed
and beyond repair.
Failing lower teeth. His teeth were removed as they were
extensively decayed and beyond repair.
Teeth were removed as they were extensively decayed and
beyond repair. 4 implants were placed.
Impressions were taken of the implants and lower jaw.
A gold bar was fabricated and screwed to the implants.
Clips are placed in the fitting surface of the denture.
Note, 2 clips as the implants on the right are too close
together for a 3 clip.
Nevertheless, the denture firmly attaches to the bar and
doesn't move in any direction. Completed case also with
new upper denture.
