Eric graduated in 1967 from Leeds University and was the
sole principal of Horbury Dental Care until 1998 when
his son Mark became a partner at the current premises.
Eric's professional interests are in prosthetics, cosmetic
dentistry and the Local Dental Committee, of which he
is a past Chairman. In his spare time, Eric enjoys caravanning,
DIY and photography. |

Dr Geeta Perks BDS

Geeta graduated from Manchester University and has been at Horbury Dental Care since 2001. She regularly attends courses in her special interests, which include advanced restorative dentistry, teeth whitening, smile makeovers and facial aesthetics. She has undergone further postgraduate training in restorative and cosmetic cases with Dr. Paul Tipton and in teeth whitening with Dr. Linda Greenwall. She has also trained in facial aesthetics at the Dr Bob Khanna training institute. Geeta is a founding member of the Mouth Cancer Foundation charity and in her spare time enjoys travelling, socialising and cycling. |

Graham Duckitt

Graham graduated from Leeds University in 2007 and spent 2 years working for another practice before joining Horbury Dental Care in May 2009. He is particularly interested in Restorative dentistry and is always keen to further his knowledge and skills.
In his spare time Graham enjoys watching sports and playing golf and racquet sports.

Dr James Hudson BDS

James works very closely with Mark in the Implant Clinic, for patients who require advanced restorative treatment and/or periodontal therapy. He has interests in all aspects of restorative care and aesthetic treatments, especially at the periodontal interface. He is registered with the British Association of Cosmetic Dentists and British Society of Periodontology.
James has joined us after 14 years in his last practice, spending the last 7 years as principal dentist. He has completed numerous advanced restorative courses. He also has experience of teaching undergraduates at Sheffield University, teaching postgraduate students on privately run aesthetic/restorative courses and has been involved with Vocational Training at the Sheffield Deanery.

Kirsty Veater

Kirsty graduated from Leeds Dental School in 2007. After completing her Vocational Training at Horbury Dental Care, she has continued to work here as an Associate from January 2009. Kirsty has a keen interest in paediatric dentistry and the treatment of anxious patients. She plans to gain a qualification in sedation in the near future and also sit her MJDF examinations.
In her spare time she enjoys swimming and socialising with friends.

Preena Patel

Preena qualified from Dundee University in 2003 and joined the Team at Horbury Dental Care in October 2008. She decided to settle in General Practice as she really enjoys treating families and providing continuity of care for a group of people. Preena is currently undertaking a Diploma in Post Graduate Dental Studies at Bristol University, which she finds proving to be extremely interesting and a great challenge.
During her spare time I like to travel, read and exercise.

Paul originates from Gibraltar and qualified from Leeds University. He is our new Vocational Dental Practitioner and continues his studies with the Leeds Postgraduate Department. In his spare time Paul enjoys socialising with his friends and going to the gym. |

Geraldine Crossley

Geraldine qualified from Sheffield University gaining a Diploma in Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene with Distinction. Her work includes scaling and polishing, periodontal treatment and a wide range of routine dental procedures for children and adults.
In her spare time Geraldine supports our local Wakefield Wildcats Rugby League team. She also enjoys cycling and walking. |

Claire qualified from the Royal Army Dental Centre, gaining a diploma in Dental Hygiene. She has a lot of experience and has worked in general practice for a number of years. Her work includes scaling and polishing, periodontal treatment and dental health education for adults and children.
Claire has been living down south and has recently moved to the Wakefield area. |

Nicola Beastall

Nicola, qualified from the Eastman Dental Institute in 1987 and joined the Team at Horbury Dental Care in November 2008. She has many years experience working in both private and general practice. Her work is aimed specifically at the prevention of dental diseases, with particular emphasis on the treatment and prevention of periodontal disease and caries in both adults and children.
Outside work she is a busy Mum and also enjoys horse riding, squash and going to the gym.
