We aim to deliver high standards through a professional and friendly approach ensuring that the whole family receives a quality dental service Our Practice Opened in May 1998, the current premises are purpose built to provide unrivalled facilities in the area with six fully equipped surgeries, a dental implant clinic and an on site dental laboratory run by fully qualified technicians. In addition the practice also provides the services of a professional dental hygienist and a dental therapist. In the summer of 2007 the facilities were extended to include an independent implant clinic. All surgeries are equipped with state of the art equipment and in addition the building is fully air conditioned for your comfort. The practice is also fully computerised. Our History Horbury Dental Care is therefore a family dental practice in every sense. We are a well established family practice run by three generations of the Willings family since 1940. It commenced with Dorothie and Vincent Willings who both qualified at Leeds Dental School and ran two separate surgeries in Horbury and Wakefield. Their eldest son Eric Vincent trained at Leeds Dental School and qualified in 1967. After working at a practice in Armley he joined his father's practice in 1969, becoming a partner in 1971 and the practice continued to grow with the recruitment of two further dentists. Vincent Willings semi retired in 1977 and worked only part time until he finally ceased practising in 1990 after almost 50 years service. In December 1991 Eric's eldest son Mark qualified at Guy's Hospital Dental School in London. Mark worked for three years at practices in Kent and Surrey, then in September 1994 he joined his father at the Horbury Road surgery in Wakefield. In May 1998 the separate practices were closed and combined under one roof in the purpose built Vincent House, the current premises, which was officially opened by the right honourable Mr David Hinchliffe M.P.
