• Nick Lane qualified from Leeds Dental Institute in 2003 and has over 20 years of experience in both private and NHS dental practice. He joined the Implant team at Horbury in 2012 and has developed a strong focus on implant and restorative dentistry. Nick holds diplomas in both fields from the Faculty of General Dental Practice and is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
• He also completed his MSc in Restorative Dentistry at Leeds. With a keen interest in dental implants and the failing dentition, Nick also provides IV sedation. In his spare time Nick mentors at the ICE Post Graduate Dental Institute.

• James Hudson graduated from Turner Dental Hospital, Manchester in 1995 and has spent most of his career in private practice. For 6 years James taught Restorative Dentistry at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield. With over a decade of experience in Dental Implants and Clinical Periodontology, James has a keen interest in restorative and aesthetic treatments, particularly in cases with Periodontal complications.
• He holds an MSc in Clinical Periodontology (UCLan, 2013) and a Diploma in Dental Implants (RCS, 2016) and is an Associate Fellow of the College of Dentistry. Since Joining Horbury Dental Care in 2009, James has been part of the referral team for Periodontology and Implant Treatments.

BChD MJDF Dip Rest Dent RCS(Eng.)

• Tom Rawlins has been treating patients at Horbury Dental Care for over 14 years, having qualified from Leeds Dental Institute. He completed the Restorative Diploma at The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2016 and a research project for an MSc certification at Leeds University.
• Tom enjoys providing complex restorative dentistry, including restoration of the worn dentition and improving aesthetics. In 2022 Tom was awarded an Implant Diploma from ICE Dental Institute in Manchester.

• Tom Willan graduated from Leeds Dental Hospital in 2011 and has been treating patients at Horbury for over 10 years. Tom has a special interest in Endodontics and has been taking referrals since 2020. He completed his Diploma in Restorative Dentistry (2018) with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
• In 2022 Tom was awarded an MSc in Endodontology. Additionally, he is Vice Chair of the Wakefield Local Dental Committee and has previously held roles within the Faculty of General Dental Practice.

• Kirsty Mercer has been treating patients at Horbury Dental Care now for over 17 years, having completed her degree at Leeds Dental School in 2007. Kirsty has since developed her skills further to become a sedation trained dentist. Her calm, gentle and reassuring nature has helped many patients who have suffered with dental anxiety and phobias.
• Kirsty finds it extremely rewarding to see patients, who have often had bad experiences at the dentist, overcome their anxieties with the use of IV sedation.

BDS Dip Rest Aesthet Dent (BAARID) MFDS RCS (Eng) MCGDent

• Francois Vannerem has been a valued member of the Horbury Dental Care team since 2015, after graduating from Newcastle Dental School. Since then he has completed a Diploma in Advanced Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry and now routinely carries out more complex restorative treatments in practice and on referral.
• Francois has advanced skills in Ortho-Restorative Dentistry and is a key opinion leader for Dentsply Sirona, as well as being a board member of their PEERS orthodontic group. Francois also particularly enjoys digital dentistry and modern technology to make treatments more predictable.

Qualifying from the University of Wales in 1986, Richard Graye started his career working as an Associate dentist before owning two practices with wife Jennifer. Richard has a special interest in dentures and restoring dental implants and has worked at Horbury for over 15 years whilst taking referrals throughout.

BDS MFDS RCS (Eng)

Jordan Hobbah joined the team at Horbury Dental Care in 2021. Having completed his degree at Newcastle Dental School in 2019. Prior to working at Horbury, Jordan worked in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Pinderfields Hospital to expand his surgical skills. In 2025 he was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry by BAARID and he continues working towards his Diploma in Oral Surgery.
